Capital One
Nottingham
Credit card company Capital One opened its European Headquarters in
Nottingham in July 1998 and later extended with a £60m building. To
date, the company has invested a little over £100m in Nottingham.

In 2004 Capital One was ranked as ‘America's most admired company’ in
consumer credit by Fortune and appeared 12th on Training's list of Top 100
training organisations. Capital One was also named in the Sunday Times Top
100 Best Places to Work for the fourth year running and named the 39th Best
UK Workplace by the Financial Times.
